Sunday

Until I had a baby I loved Sundays to just kick back and relax, now I have a big calling (for the next three weeks, compassionate services leader), a baby, and a hungry husband.  We have church at 11:30 and Danny usually takes a nap at 12, but with church right smack dab in the middle he misses his afternoon nap and plays all through church.  Today he found the door jam in Relief Society and that kept him occupied for the next 15 minutes.  Good thing, he was so tired he didn't want me to hold him.  But I keep thinking about school, my audition, having more kids, the trailer, moving, waiting for the next three weeks to move, and I don't know what church was all about, I do know what was said in Sacrament, and sunday school, but don't ask me what was in Relief Society.  I found out yesterday that I need to audition to get into my piano lesson class and have been working and working to get 3-4 songs memorized for three weeks.  Come to remember I have a piano lesson tomorrow that I'm not prepared for at all!!  oops.....  I have also been looking at jobs and hoping that either I or Mark can get a job to help us out.  Crossing my fingers for a job and for a grant.  Yesterday I spent two or three hours pulling weeds in just one spot, I was beat by the end of the day and I still have the whole rest of the yard!  I was hoping it wouldn't take this long, but looks like it will take a good week to get everything pulled out!  sick, maybe I should take a before and after picture so ya'll can see.  :)

sleeping

Since the beginning of July, Danny has started sleeping through the night. Alleluia!  However, I have been awoken every three to four hours, sometimes two hours, due to sickness, baby, and hubby.  I still have not slept a full six  hours without being awoken for nine months now, I am ready to have a good long sleep!!!  Good thing though, I can still function even with these multiple awakenings.  I'm sure glad that my mom ensured that I had healthy sleep habits when I was little, it makes life easier as an adult.  Dannycute a tooth yesterday and was such a grump!  I could not put him down for a minute to get the house clean, he just screamed and screamed, not that I blame him, but I had my stuff to get done!  But he's better and happy now.  :)

Rexburg

Yesterday Mark and I took an adventure over to Rexburg.  Sorry, no pictures. yet. We'd been looking at houses because in the long run it is cheaper than renting a place.  So we found a few in our price range and went and looked, the one we were hoping was better than it looked was trashed!  Oh my ugly!  And the first thing we heard from the neighbor was her yelling at her yappy dog, " get your "ace" back in here" (edited for content) So bad feeling was pasted all over that place.  But as we were driving down to the trash house I saw a few "for rent" signs.  We called a few places, one house for rent was adorable. Clean cut grass, flowers, a clothes line, and for Mark room, and farmy stuff  like a silo (however it is spelled.....) and sheds.  Too bad the rent was to much on the upward scale.  We have some friends that live over there and how recently bought a trailer on a farm that had a few more trailers on it, and they knew the trailers were for rent.  So we went up and looked at it and looked around at the farm.  A lot of baby things were on the farm, baby horses, baby kittens, baby goats.  It was a cute little place.  I'm not completely sold on the trailer yet.  Only because the master bedroom is on one end and the second bedroom is on the other end!!  I don't want to have my baby that far away from me, especially with the front door between the two.  We'll try having the little guy with us to see how that goes over.  Also we're not taking the piano, which will make practicing for my classes a little more difficult.  I've been thinking of what to move and I can't even imagine it yet.  We drove back to Boise last night, and poor little man was so sick of the carseat that he didn't sleep very well.  We need to catch the little man up on sleep.  So we'll be moving to Rexburg in the next three weeks.  weird.  But I'm excited to get started on my classes!

Dancing!

Lately I've been putitng music on while in the kitchen and then Danny and I have a dance party.  Mostly he just smiles and laughes at mommy doing some funny things.  But the other day Mark, Danny, and I were at KFC (ironic huh?) and there was some music on and he starts moving like he's dancing so Mark and I start dancing with him and he smiles and dances some more. so cute right?  Today he was dancing man, he was in his walker and was walking and dancing at the same time, even cuter.

possible school?

Mark and I have been looking into buying a house so that we can go to school this fall.  I only hope that we can get a grant, we may have lost our choice since we might not have gotten all the information sent in on time.  Cross your fingers!  I finally got to DI, but my house is still a mess. I feel like I have less time to get my house clean than when I was babysitting!  My mom gave Danny a thing to go over the shopping cart so he doesn't have to sit in germs, so I got it out the other day and pressed a button that makes a mooing sound and he looks at me and starts crying!  Silly boy.  He has a lot to not be afriad of.  I don't like being on hold.  I have been on the phone for ten minutes and I don't think there are that many people calling because it's nine in the morning!!  Maybe I'm wrong, but......this is ridiculous!

Day Two!

Yeah, two days.  :)  I still have not figured out how to make it more private!  I just don't know how.  I'll figure it out one day when I don't have  so much stuff going on. Danny has a habit of not sleeping in church (like most kids) and I give him to one lady for Relief Society since I'm the pianist and she loves holding him and somehow always gets him to sleep in the last five minutes!  Danny is now sleeping from seven  or eight at night until six thirty or seven at night!  Yahoo!!  On Saturday night Mark found that his dad had forgotten to close the door on a wheat truck and dumped out a whole lot of wheat, so they planned to pick it up Monday morning.  To our dismay a storm was brewing on Sunday night and at 9 pm we went out with a tractor, some shovels and our own selves to pick up the wheat.  John was in the tractor (and a dump bucket attached) Mark and I were manning the shovels.  We worked for a good hour and a half.  I am officially sore!  I put all I had into shoveling the wheat into the bucket.  Since I am done babysitting I have a few things that I want to get done, and what did I do today?  I made suckers for the kids I babysat so they can do a lemonade stand before the summer ends.  The first batch I did, oh man I burnt the heck out of them.  This time I did three batches just right.  I didnt' think of taking pictures so just imagine butterfly, strawberry, and heart shaped suckers.  :)  Then I went over to their house because on Friday we made a paper mache volcano, and I wanted to have it explode for them.  We were rushed for time and didn't get to make it really good.  poor kids.  Oh well, they know what to do better for next time.  I thought I'd get so much done today!  No way!  I still have piles of laundry, my bed is on the floor (rearranging) clothes that need to go to DI, bathroom to clean, dishes to be done, meals to be made, and taking care of Danny.  bummer.  Good thing tomorrow will be here so I can do some more!  :)

Day One

Okay, I watched Julie & Julia and had so many thoughts runnng through my head about a blog I decided to start one.  I hope I don't live to regret it.  I can delete it if I want right?  One thing I can't figure out is how do I choose who I want to read it and who I don't?  I am computer illiterate when it comes to that.  I have officially finished babysitting fifty to sixty hours a week.  They said they didn't need me anymore and now I'm twiddling my thumbs wondering what I'm going to do.  I love playing with my little guy so it'll be nice to be able to focus my energy on him, but having those seven kids run around me helped me get my energy back from giving birth to Danny.  Good thing since he is nine months old.  I can't believe he is that old!  I went through my clothes today and have a huge stack of clothes that need a DI run on Monday, and I made a paper mache volcano with the kids I babysat (before I knew the parents had decided to let me go) and I want them to actually finish it and have an explosion, so I'm also going back on Monday to do that with them.  I don't know what to really write on here, I think it's quite boring and I guess I include either not enough details to make a story interesting, or way too many that it becomes too boring.  Do you know I can drive a tractor?  I feel quite proud of that fact.  I also planted a wheat field (in the tractor pulling a seed drill) all by myself.  Another thing I'm quite proud of.  But the number one thing I am proud of is my baby boy,  Daniel.  He may not be completely crawling yet, but he sure can get around now.  He still face plants all the time, but he loves moving and wriggling.  He had his first taste of raw milk and it doesn't give him a tummy ache, which is a good thing considering I can't stand the thought of drinking milk.  And store bought milk has giving my tummy a lifelong tummy condition.  Mark is loving that I am home to be able to cook breakfast, lunch, and dinner now.  With babysitting I left before he got up and I came home around six to make dinner. Well, I'm bored writing now, so I guess I'll wait for more exciting things to happen!  ha ha
